I have only known one. my son. He was motivated by developing his skills to keep reaching a higher level of dynamics in his stunt riding. He took the risk to do that. Seemed to thrive on risk but not without developing the skills step by step. Why? Challenging himself charged his spirit with the release of high levels of endorphins. He loved being “in the zone” where splendour rocked! Timing, balance, control ….. a mutifaceted range of precise skills needed or the alternative which would not be very pleasant.
I love a good infographic, and this is up there with the best! Very good, interesting read. I think it is very plain and simple though, extreme sports helps to achieve a sensational high that not many people will ever achieve, plus having the memories to look back on isn’t too bad either!
